New episode with Logan Milano, founder of Amryth, a canned drink made with mad honey from the Himalayas. He launched in March, crossed about $300K in three months, has sold over 40,000 cans and won ASU’s $100K pitch competition. He went from finance intern to alcohol alternatives, raised his price to $40 and sold more, and when a supplier got caught faking it with THC he took a 5 a.m. call and flew to Nepal to meet the honey hunters himself (giant bees, food poisoning included). He started with under $5K and credit card float.
We talk about why every can is lab-tested, hiring slowly and working with a co-packer, going from 100 views to viral videos that actually sell, paid ads and subscriptions at a 0.5 ROAS, net 30, MOQs and forecasting inventory, why Amryth is skipping retail for now, building a 150-creator TikTok Shop tribe, the road to $1M and winning back customers, and why copycats don’t make it zero-sum.
